Now that our large and in charge sculpture is installed and complete (photos to come)- we can cast a major shout out to this guy!

Devon came on over a year ago with Matchless to help specifically with this latest large sculpture project. We quickly learned he is a total jammer and really added a lot our team both with his tenacity and personality. When he isn’t adding some flavor to our meetings he’s on the floor grinding in the metal shop.

Who’s surprised that one our first rooms finished (mostly) in our new shop is the merch room…? Nobody. The answer is nobody!

This is the first (of a few) appreciation posts related to this massive project we are currently installing in Florida. This guy was THE ringleader who’s had his head down, pulled away from the rest of the shop team, and breathing the details of this project for over a year. What a talent show he is 🙌

We are excited to have him back in the daily hustle with us, but couldn’t be more thankful for his efforts and skills to complete this project.

Last week was huge for our metal fab team. We officially said bye to one of our longest standing projects that we’ve been working on in the shop! This week this behemoth will come to life at its forever home. Stay tuned!

Some more shop updates! Of course we have more murals (shoutout @stanger138 ), signage is going up, derby cars are finding their new resting places, but the real upgrade is the new Matchless addition in the parking lot 🙌

Say hello to Vesla!

Initially subbing in at Matchless to cover some pat leave, Vesla proved she was a total jammer and quickly came aboard full time with the crew. Showing off the now famous Lee work ethic we are stoked to have the power house sister duo jamming on the fab floor. While Vesla is new to the industry we are stoked at what they have brought to the team.

Always a blast working with the @vanillawood team. We were stoked to work through a small line of custom furniture for this project, including this bold and curvy coffee table.

It’ll never get old seeing projects placed in their final home.

Mitch is our newest Design Engineer here at Matchless! Having met on the dirt bike trails he is now cutting and slicing up models, plywood and foam. From 3D printing to cabinetry and furniture Mitch is rocking it all. With a constantly positive attitude and friendly smile Mitch helps turn ideas into reality and we are super happy to have him on the team!

Although this is far from tallest project- it’s always fun to have an excuse to bust out the scissor lifts!

Another day in the shop! We’ve got a sea of pink flooding the paint booths and our 3D printers working hard on some fun prototypes. And yes, we do name our 3D printers- don’t you?
