Inspired by the clean geometry of structural steel,
BEAM candleholder introduces a quiet elegance to the table.
On its own it holds a taper candle with solid presence.
In sequence it shifts from object to component and creates rhythm, alignment and a calm architectural order.

On Fogo Island transportation and logistics are complex due to the small harbor and narrow roads. Taking advantage of concrete 3D printing -that allows for the material to be shipped in its most compact form- we redesigned the pole to best suit this technology.
