Interior Design for Officina Satinine @satinine_milano
La portineria 🗝️
This space within the store was designed to recreate a portineria, places I love deeply that you can find in most entrances of condominiums and palaces in Italy. The keys are used instead of gift cards, romanticising the gesture of gifting.

Bad Posture Chairs is a collection of chairs designed to accommodate postures considered “incorrect” and non-conforming.
Each element of the collection originates from research into alternative postures and proposes a structure capable of accommodating them rather than correcting them. Instead of imposing an ideal posture, these chairs adapt to real and recurring gestures: sitting cross-legged, curling up, leaning to one side, folding one leg in front of the body, or constantly shifting position become actions anticipated by the design, not deviations to be tolerated.
Inspired by the photographs of Bruno Munari’s article dedicated to the exploration of comfort in an uncomfortable armchair, the series combines critical reflection and a playful dimension, inviting a reconsideration of the concept of comfort and encouraging diversity as a starting point in the design process.

@satinine_milano is here.
I’ve designed a perfume shop inspired by one of my biggest passion, entryways and condominiums. Since I came back to Italy I’ve collected hundreds of photos of these fascinating liminal spaces, always so detailed and curated, everlasting, elegant but welcoming. In the Satinine shop I designed every detail (including a portineria) to be a celebration of these spaces.
Thank you @andreagallettioff for trusting me with this project and loving the idea of the entryways as much as me.
Thank you @martina_frattura for lighting up this space with satin candor
Thank you @arbaro.falegnameria for making all the incredible woodworking and making my intricate designs into life
Thank you to Mohamed and his team for building all the details and materials in this space
Thank you to Marco for supporting me with everything architectural
Thank you to @artigiani_del_marmo_1963 for making all the beautiful marble designs
Thank you to @matlight_milano for the beautiful appliqués custom designs
And thank you to all the people that contributed to create this space
Bader, Alfre, Davide, Salvatore
Thank you to @serasozeri for supporting throughout it all
Thank you to @tiziano.ercoli @riccardo_giancola for the beautiful photos

Interior Design and Bar Design for Boffalora Space @boffalora_aps
Conceived as a community-driven bar and cultural hub on the outskirts of Milan, @boffalora_aps is a space dedicated to artistic experimentation, live music, and collective gathering. Housed within a former industrial building, the project embraces the raw character of its context, preserving original structural features and celebrating the honesty of the existing architecture.
The bar made from a pine plywood and steel counter becomes a visual and social focal point, animated by a backdrop of glossy blue tiles that catch and reflect light. Inclusivity is embedded in the design through a lowered section of the bar, intentionally conceived to be accessible to wheelchair users (most bar counters are not). This design reinforces the project’s core values of openness and participation, ensuring the space can be comfortably used by everyone.
Special thank you to @pelinsozeri_ for introducing me to this amazing project and making me part of it 💙

Thank you to all the people that came to @superstudio.design and tried the chairs, and told me how they felt seen by them. Thank you to the teacher, that told me she often tells her students to sit properly and how she will reevaluate it after seeing these.
I did this chair in particular, for my younger self. Since I was a child I sat with my leg up, this felt normal and natural for me but wrong for anyone else. And now that I’m a grown up and a designer I can design a chair that would fit perfectly that position, because I learnt in time there was actually never anything wrong with it.
I hope these chairs made you feel the same. 🤎🪑
Thank you to all the people that supported me in making this project, especially @valter_cagna @tom_braceschi @laura_vella @fede.borgato Micaela & his dad, Peter
Please tell me your bad posture position so I can design more of them 🤎

Bad Posture Chairs 🪑
This is the project for all the people that sit in “uncommon” positions: cross legged, half crossed leg, squatting in balance, one leg up one leg down, one leg under the body, crossed, hugging the chair, leaning on the chair and more.
All of these positions are actually very common and make us feel comfortable, and I think chairs should be designed on the basis of what people actually need and use and not force us into uncomfortable compliance.
If this is you, these chairs are for you 🤎

A custom wall light designed in collaboration with @matlight_milano an Italian lighting brand known for merging artisanal craftsmanship with high-end design. Based on their signature Levante model, the piece was reworked specifically for the @satinine_milano store: the discs were made uniform in size and finished in satin nickel to match the store’s metalwork, with the overall form drawn toward an Art Deco and 1930’s modernist aesthetic. The discs are not fixed — they can be repositioned at any time, allowing the light reflection and intensity to be adjusted depending on the needs of the space.

Me and the counter / secret bar 🍸
And to finish the story of the making of Satinine, there’s me next to probably my favourite part of the project. This counter looks like a counter, but the front is actually made of multiple high chairs, so that the it becomes a secret bar. The idea was cherished from the start but when I started designing it, I realised it was pretty intricate. Dimensions were the hardest part, because the height for a counter isdifferent from the height of a bar. I spent many days redrawing these chairs and the counter until making it work. It turned out so well in the end and it couldn’t be possible without @arbaro.falegnameria talent in making it actually work and making it into a reality (despite the struggles along the way) It was a bit of a wild idea, but it is now one of the most loved parts of the store by its customers (and friends that come to have a drink 🍸)
I love these green tiles because they remind me of all those shiny tiles you can see outside Milan condominiums. This whole project was an indulgence of my obsession with them and their entryways, and I truly loved every part of the process.
Forever grateful to @andreagalletti_nello for giving me this opportunity and a dream project to work on, and to each person who worked on it and was part of it, which made this project so special.
I’m in the photo looking all ‘’designer’’ with my crossed arms, but this project is a result of many people and many ideas, which all contributed to what it is today.
Thank you to you all 🤎

Curatorial Space
This part of the store was designed to host and to be in continuous change and evolution. The big library doors in the cathedral’s glass move to create different spaces to change the display. The marble podiums can be placed in different ways and create different forms. The ‘’organo olfattivo’’ in the back was designed to store all the raw materials to smell, one by one, to understand all the single ingredients of the Satinine perfumes and the artisanal work behind them.
The library was built by @arbaro.falegnameria and the wrapping lighting in it was an idea of @martina_frattura. The podiums were built by @artigiani_del_marmo_1963 The flowers were created by @lafioreria.shop to match the colours and style of the shop.
