We are watching America eat itself from within and in my body, I feel a sense of impending great doom. I am watching the enemy win and no one seems to understand that the America these demons want is the dystopia hell that we watch on tv.

I deleted a picture from my last post bc I cut @lizswanby s whole head off. My sister deserves better than that from me! So here we are Liz, Rozalind, Chad and myself at the Florida Grill in SE DC.

Got home recently from a trip back east to advocate for land based issues. @trustforpublicland and Alaska Wilderness League, @loveisking thank you for lifting up local folks to speak up for the vulnerable who aren’t in DC to speak for themselves.
We all know our nation is in a deep ideological crisis moment and there is no wrong time for “We The People” to rise up and take back control. There is no wrong time.
While I was in DC, I met with staffers from senators and a few actual legislators. It may do nothing, but we have to tell them how we feel. They are very far removed from reality and it is up to the people to tell them what the hell is going on.

Highlights from my trip:
Seeing my cousin Jean, Dad and Andrea, seeing Mavis, Andre, Jules and Miles(forgot to take pictures), hanging out with my old friend Malika and her son Gabriel, Paganos, and hanging outwith Chad, Rozalind and Liz in DC.

Good morning!

Crazy that we can spend Billions of dollars everyday illegally bombing the people of Iran for no reason but can’t take care of the poor in America. Crazy that we can’t seem to do the logical things that would make America a better place for all of us, but that we don’t blink when the rich loot us, turn against us and weaponize our own government against us. I’m so sick of this. Throw the whole damn government away. We cannot go back to the way things were, that is the road that led us here. I hope and pray that we find a way to take care of one another and live in a just balance with the rest of the world.

We live in a new era of mask off white supremacy and oligarchic fascism. No one is safe. Our only way through is together.

Does America have a soul? Doesn’t look or feel like it. We didn’t learn anything from Iraq, Afghanistan or Vietnam. Venezuela? Because why? Drugs? Oil? Greenland? Bombed Nigeria…Mississippi goddam yall. And to add to that, making it all more poignant and surreal, a white lady lost her life trying to get away from ICE.
Happy New Year from us and Hoppin’ John.
