MEET THE FOUNDER—

Hey! I’m Kai, the founder and lead content creator here at Maid of Content. With so many new faces following and a mini break from shooting weddings, I feel like it’s a good time for you all to get to know me a little better :) Here’s some random facts about me!

• I’m 30 years old 🦀. Been living in South Jersey my whole life and probably never leaving! I get asked a lot if my name is short for something, but it’s just Kai (rhymes with sky).

• I started MOC in January of this year while planning my own wedding. I was a stay at home mom, but I’ve alwayssss wanted to start my own thing. So when I stumbled upon wcc while looking for inspiration for my own wedding, I knew immediately I was going to give it a shot!

• My husband Matt and I were together for 10 years and already had two beautiful boys before our intimate celebration on 7/2/24 in Mallorca, Spain.

• Before MOC and before becoming a stay at home mom, I worked at a family owned distribution center for salon products for 5 years! I learned and grew so much there with my incredible boss’s support and guidance. I probably wouldn’t have ever started MOC without having that experience.

• I’ve always been an artsy person— I dabbled in photography when I was a teen, I sketched and wrote a lot (still thinking of writing a poetry book), my sister and I used to make comedy skits and movies with our digital cameras 😅 My younger self would be so proud.

• I love to travel and I’ve been to Iceland, Paris and got engaged in Hawaii. I’m actually going to Cali for my first time ever this week!

• I’m also a mom to a standard poodle named Roo, a turtle named Swim Turtle and now a hamster named Hammie. Boy mom problems 🥲

I’m so grateful everyday for this little community and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store. Thank you for being here 🤍
