I’m so excited to be offering my artistic coaching services again.
I’ve helped so many students build their dance pieces, circus acts, theatre projects, and characters from the ground up, and it feels like the right time to begin sharing my process through MADRE MOVEMENT.
With me, you can commit to a four week process where we schedule intentional time and clear goals to help you build, edit, and refine your creative idea.

Weekly Class On Saturdays
✨ Taking our time to workshop the same movements and shift of weights
🗣️ Using conversation to understand choreography
🌱 Expanding our capacity to remember choreography through failure
As an instructor, I am always hoping to deliver the most integrated somatic approach to support dancers who may not be dancing six days a week, offering them a way to still find softness in the joints and expansive mobility that allows them to flow through movement phrases with their highest freedom and ease.
🐺 Calling all you wild souls out there. Let’s keep moving 🫶🏻✨💪🏼
🔥 The mobility. The LATERALS. 👀

Jordan Morley is teaching April 18 🌿💫
Jordan is an absolute force — a deeply intuitive artist and an immersive theatre and improv veteran who consistently goes above and beyond to truly see every individual in the room. We met through the immersive world, and I’ve always been struck by his generosity, his presence, and the way he builds trust so effortlessly within an ensemble. Dancing and working with him reminds you that your uniqueness is the work — he doesn’t just make space for it, he celebrates it.
His approach invites curiosity, play, and deep listening — both to yourself and to others. There’s a sense of freedom in the way he guides, where rigor and joy coexist beautifully. You feel held, challenged, and inspired all at once.
Let’s roll, let’s stretch, let’s skip, let’s point, let’s not point, let’s weight share, let’s find trust in our friends and partners, let’s find joy in our dancing… and maybe do it all on one leg ♥️
Jordan’s class is open to all levels, welcoming movers from all backgrounds. Expect a playful yet grounded exploration of movement, connection, and presence — with opportunities to collaborate, improvise, and expand your physical vocabulary in a supportive space.

Andrea Farley Shimota is teaching April 11 🌿💫
Andi is the kindest, gentlest, most effervescent fairy on this planet. We met working at Sleep No More and transitioned to Life and Trust shortly after. Dancing with her genuinely expanded my sense of play. Her sense of authenticity, improvisation, and musicality always asked me to be present — never on autopilot. She was also instrumental when I was working on my one-woman show. I truly trust her artistry and perspective. She is also one of the most generous people I know.
Andrea’s class is open to all levels, with phrase work emphasizing flow and personal interpretation, and floorwork broken down into clear, accessible components. The class both strengthens and refines movement pathways for experienced dancers while introducing foundational principles for those newly exploring movement. Through anatomically informed exercises, Andrea emphasizes awareness of the body’s relationship to movement while building strength, coordination, and efficiency.

Don’t Miss Moving with Noah ✨
I know Noah personally from working at Sleep No More and our mutual love for Gyrotonic. They are a gentle and powerful soul — not only are they beautiful to watch, but their teachings are always playful and transformative 🌿💫
Noah’s class incorporates the fundamentals of ballet and modern legwork and articulation with the practices of mindfulness, breathwork, and full-body spatial connection derived from the GYROTONIC™️ and GYROKINESIS™️ Methods. Class will begin on the floor with gentle exercises that cultivate warmth and mobility in the spine, hips, shoulders, and trunk, followed by standing movement sequences that gradually expand in size, range, spaciousness, duration, and dimensionality 🌊🌀

Solo for @noahlaor
Creation was only four hours in two days! Plus some hours for filming.
It was a lovely collaboration - alchemical process between artist and choreographer. Noah was incredibly receptive and curious. They took the movement I offered and truly made it their own.
So grateful for these kinds of spaces and brava to NOAH!
