My mom always loved the Cheongsam or “long dress”. We would sit on the couch and she would show me pictures of her in a dress just like this one in the photo. I remember she asked me if I would ever make her one or design it when I was older, I said of course I would! I always imagined making her a jade green with gold dress. When she passed away I had the dress made for her, wish I could have made it for her myself. Mom, I love and miss you every day of my life. Hope you are smiling and enjoying the Cheongsam.

This year I am dedicating my once a year selfie to @rcrivera Today is his birthday, he would have been 45 years young. This is us in early 2019, our first project together. For years to follow we traveled to LA together many times, worked in SF but it’s not the work I miss, it’s the friendship. Just talking about motorcycles, family and travels including building his dream home in the forest. My fondest memory was one evening working late, he checked the time, got up and said sorry I got on date @heathercheddar Nothing else mattered more than keeping his date night. I hope people will visit his IG to see how this amazing person lived his life and created his art.

On this day April 22, 1995 I felt the greatest loss of my life. It was not just pain or a simple emotion, it was destruction of the mind in a way. I don’t want or ask for sympathy nor any comments but would like to ask if you could please send your mom love, whetherin memory, spirit, physical, emotional, hug or kiss just make it happen. I know this was something I should have done more often when my mom was still here. I love and miss you every day of my life. Thank you for bringing me into this world and giving me the happiest memories.
