What happens when I mess up a mend? I take it out and start again πͺ‘
I always take notes about where things went wrong, and subtract my messing up time from my doing-it-right time so my clients never pay for my mistakes. Sometimes things take waaaaaay longer than I think they will, but I always learn something!
Although I know how to swiss darn plain knits well (I'm teaching an intro to swiss darning workshop on 2/21 at @maydelcraft !) I got totally lost following the structure of this particular knit. It was a rib knit with a hole right in the middle of increasing rows of stitches. One of my goals this year is to get better at mending more complicated knits (like cables and rib knits and seed stitches) so this project gave me a little bit of practice towards that goal... but I still have a long way to go!
