As a deep feeler/highly sensitive person, I feel myself naturally attuning to my clients energy during treatments.
Your body can shift from fight or flight (or fawn or freeze) into rest and digest surprisingly fast, and I value this aspect of my work so deeply! Providing tender, loving care allows me to align my inner purpose with my outer purpose…relaxing you, calming you, seeing you breathe deeply: these are all little gifts to me. ✨
Gentle, rhythmic touch during a facial stimulates pressure receptors in the skin that send calming signals through the nervous system, increasing parasympathetic activity (the recovery, digestion, and relaxation branch☺️). Heart rate can slow, breathing deepens, and I can quite literally *see* you begin to relax.
Why, yes… on occasion I also see you twitch and or snore… and brother, I’m LIVING for it all💤
