من خلال ذكريات شخصية عن رام الله ولغة التطريز الرمزية، يُعيد هذا العمل تخيّل المناظر الطبيعية الفلسطينية خارج أطر رسم الخرائط الاستعمارية. ويستكشف كيف يمكن للمعرفة الأصلية والذاكرة الجماعية أن تُعيد تشكيل عملية رسم الخرائط لتصبح ممارسة للمقاومة والتذكّر والتحرر المكاني. ومن خلال توثيق الأرض عبر التجارب المعيشية بدلاً من الحدود المفروضة، يقترح العمل لغة بصرية بديلة تُعيد ربط الجغرافيا والهوية والثقافة، بينما يتخيّل مستقبلاً تُمثّل فيه فلسطين من خلال رواياتها الخاصة وروابطها الأصلية.

Through personal memories of Ramallah and the symbolic language of tatreez, this work reimagines Palestinian landscapes beyond the frameworks of colonial cartography. It explores how Indigenous knowledge and collective memory can reshape map-making into a practice of resistance, remembrance, and spatial liberation. By documenting the land through lived experiences rather than imposed borders, it proposes an alternative visual language that reconnects geography, identity, and culture while imagining a future where Palestine is represented through its own narratives and Indigenous kinship.

More than a repository, the Sudan Art Archive is a collective act of resistance against forgetting — connecting artworks, artists and institutions across generations while creating accessible pathways for knowledge, visibility and future storytelling.
