Took a second but since the summer in Berlin is officially over and I'm really not ready for it, here's finally the second part or our Georgia summer vacation. On our way to the black sea we drove through the city Gori and Kutaissi before we arrived in our dreamy apartment at the seaside with pool and sea view 🙏 The first day we just relaxed in our resort with a lot of Margaritas, carbs and cheese. The other days we did a bit of exploring. Went to the border to Turkey for a super clear sea with lots of tiny medusas in there, met up with @tamunakakubava and @alexandre_a.p for there 10th wedding anniversary and spent a lovely day at the pool, @shmagman showed me the seaside city Batumi, where we had the best acharuli (cheese boat) that I've tried so far and that has the tiniest McDonalds I've ever seen. On our way back to Tbilisi we stopped at Borjomi - a special request of mine. Borjomi is a Georgian sparkling mineral water brand - my favorite actually. Legend has it, that in Borjomi the water comes out of the mountain in their national park already sparkeled due to the minerals in the stone. Of course I had to try that and holly sh** - it's actually true!
We saw a lot in these two weeks and I had such a good time! Perfect balance of action and relaxation. But most important of all - I finally could explore a little piece of the home country of my love 💗

I started a new little hobby and I'm a bit proud of it. 👛 This January I did my first small beads bag as a prototype. I watched way too many Tik Tok videos about people making pearl bags during the last Christmas season and I had to check if my intrusive thoughts, that I could do that myself, were actually right.
Since then I made two (actually usable) bags and I really love them both. ☺️✨️
Problem is - the pearl quantity you need to make one of these bags is a little expensive. (For my last bag I used almost 3k pearls for example.) BUT on the last day of our summer Georgia trip we stumbled across this very small shop that had tons of affordable glass pearls - we spent over an hour in there and I got as many pearls as the baggage weight limit for our flight allowed 🙏
While I'm still figuring out different shapes and ideas I just wanted to share this with the world and in case I caught anybodys interest in one of these bags let me know 🥰

This years summer vacation was all about my loves home country that has shaped him into the amazing person that he is today. I'm talking about Georgia. 🇬🇪
A country that lives through challenging times right now (actually always has been with the breath of Russia down their neck) and people with unbelievable strong will, positivity, warmth and livers of steel given the amount of Cha Cha (their local schnaps) they can drink 😉
The first half of our vacation we spent in Tbilisi - met up with friends and family, celebrated @realmkhv birthday and got unapologetically drunk (at least I did 😇), got to see contemporary Georgian dance at an open air venue (which was so so special!), got to drive from Tbilisi, to the mountain and seaside region, which was the most challenging drive I've ever done (to say the least 😂), hiked up the mountain to the Gergeti Trinity Church with a stunning view on the Kazbegi mountain and Gergeti glacier, took a quite adventures route down back to our lovely hotel where I finally finall finally got to defeat @shmagman in playing pool (let's not discuss that it took me 10 rounds to do so 😉).
Stay tuned for the second part of our little summer roadtrip ✨️
