Today I was lucky enough to close out this very busy week in the most gorgeous nursery in Wellesley, designed by my friend and incredibly talented @inkandcanvas for a baby girl arriving in just a few days!

Today was all about capturing the essence of this room and creating content Kristen can actually use.

Because when you design homes like this, people need to see it!

And the best part is that this is just the beginning. We’re photographing her whole house this summer and I genuinely cannot wait.

This project, introduced through Beth at Luxury Boston Real Estate, was especially meaningful. We had the honor of executing a vision originally shaped by a talented European designer, ensuring every detail translated seamlessly from Spain to Boston.

Endless boxes, layered installs, custom details, and full-home styling later… a completely turnkey space.

Most days are a mix of school drop offs, client shoots, running errands for upcoming projects, and trying to keep everything moving forward.

This one included photographing the most beautiful home while having the best time with Deb from @maveninteriordesign, prepping for a brand shoot the next day… and ending with pizza night at home. (If you attempt pizza night at home I highly suggest buying dough from @bertuccis!)

It’s a lot, it’s definitely a little chaotic, but so fun!

I’ve redesigned my own website more times than I can count.

2010 — when we first opened The Paint Bar and needed a site that explained a brand new concept.

2011 — when we realized what people were actually booking and we needed a site that supported our customer volume.

2015 — when we had a location on Newbury Street and our site had to match the quality of our brand.

2020 — when Covid hit and the entire business model shifted overnight. Suddenly we had to ship supplies!

2023 — after we closed our brick-and-mortar and had to rethink what The Paint Bar looked like without physical studios.

2026 — when we made the shift to online tutorials and digital products.

And again as LightPop Studio evolved from family photography into brand photography and web design.

Every stage required new visuals.
New messaging.
New structure.

Because the business was different.

Websites aren’t one-time projects.
They’re living reflections of where your business is right now.

If your business has grown but your website hasn’t caught up, that disconnect is costing you clarity.

Growth requires updates.

I only take on a small number of website clients each month so every build is strategic and custom.
