🏆🌟 GP Bizarre at the 'Welcome to C*nt-O' Kiki by @azadggucci & @candyelijah

When I think of Pokemon, I'm brought back to my childhood, when my mum would wake me up at 6:00 before school, so I could watch it dubbed in Arabic. The theme song slapped, so I was mostly inspired by the opening lyrics about wanting to be the best.

‎ "أحلم دوماً أن أكون الأفضل بين الجميع"

In Lebanon, truck drivers display this ambition by decorating their vehicles with protective spells in Arabic calligraphy and colorful ornaments.
So with the power of coding and cardboard, I created my own armor and paid tribute to this art form.

A big thank you to those who have shown love and support 🫵🏽💕

📝 When I say I'm Polyvalent in my CV

I must admit, that weekend left me drained, but it’s always fun to juggling different forms of expression!

🎹🎤 It felt great to be back on stage after so many years, especially among such fab talents. Through Levantine Piano, Jazz Improvisation and Spoken Poetry, I shared parts of my story with a crowd of beautiful people.
🔫💞 The day after, I walked Bizarre at the Revolution ball. For the “Warriors of Love” theme, I wanted to pay tribute to mothers – a piece dear to me, for I brainstormed and designed it entirely on the phone with my actual mother.

🫂💗 What fills me with the most gratitude, though, is the overwhelming love I’m surrounded by. To everyone who showed up, supported, or helped — thank you.

30✨

I couldn’t ask for a better way to enter this new decade than to be showered with your love. Big hugs to everyone who showed up and made me feel so appreciated! 💕

Looking back on my 20s, I feel nothing but joy and gratitude. It’s been a shaping journey filled with growth: I moved to Germany, graduated, laid the foundation for my career. I met inspiring people and loved with all my heart. I laughed, sang, danced, traveled, created, learned, lost, and won.

I hope that ten years from now, I’ll look back on my 30s with the same joy and pride. For now, let the journey continue! 🌸

8. Musician playing Oud in Byblos, his performance was spat-on! 💦

9. Call to prayer in Byblos while contemplating the citadel and the Persian wall 🏰

There’s no better place to heal my soul than Home - this picturesque little beach on the coast of Lebanon, that has watched me grow for 30 years.

Gazing out at the Bay of Jounieh and the capital, Beirut, I find myself unable to recount all the memories I’ve gathered in this very spot, for they are far too many.
The ruins of a medieval watchtower stand as silent witnesses to the bay’s rich history, and to that of my family. As a child, my father played among these very ruins, unaware that years later, they would become the place where he would meet my mother.
I think of all the summers I’ve spent here - building sandcastles as a baby, learning to swim as a child, later fishingafter school, paddling with friends as a teenager, and windsurfing with my uncle.

In these turquoise waters, I see a reflection of myself. I lose myself in the memories, only to find my roots.

MMXXIV

In a year where loss and destruction became a daily reality, simply existing felt like an act of resistance. The battlefields were many: Genocide at home, my identity dehumanized, depression, unemployment, a breakup, my body changing, homesickness, and loneliness.

Some days, just leaving the house felt like the hardest thing in the world. But I had no choice but to fight through it. Thanks to my close circle, friends, and like-minded communities, I sang it off, drew it off, laughed it off, tried to keep my body moving, and somehow managed to keep the ball rolling.

I'm so grateful to be surrounded by such beautiful and inspiring people. If we crossed paths in #2024, know this: Whether you knew it or not, you helped a brother make it through 🫂❤️
