Meet Leticia Ferreira, new dancer apprentice with Cullberg! ✨
Leticia Ferreira (2000, Brazil) is a dancer, choreographer, teacher, and movement researcher based in Europe. Rooted in both classical and contemporary training, her practice has expanded through her immersion in capoeira and urban dance styles, especially house dance. This continues to shape her sense of rhythm, presence, and collectivity.
After a decade of training at Escola de Dança de São Paulo, completing a degree in Physical Education, and 3 years of teaching dance and emotional intelligence education in schools and dance studios across São Paulo, she moved to Brussels in 2022 to join the Bachelor training program at P.A.R.T.S. Her artistic path is guided by curiosity and connection — weaving body, memory, writing, video and technology into poetic and political performance work. She is a member of L.I.E. (Laboratoire d’improvisation expérimentale), a collective exploring interdisciplinary improvisation where she often mediates sessions of instant composition through improvisation.

We performed in the public space of the Grote Hall, Brussels, and by the sea at Dansand Festival, Ostend.
Dancing, singing, sweating under the sun and lights. Even now, I find myself slowing down, letting the waves of winning joy, sadness, pleasure, hot and thirsty return.

𝐖𝐑@𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝟏𝐃!𝐀 is a performance by Leticia Ferreira, inspired by her scrolling routine. The work delves into the prevalent phenomenon of hyperstimulation on social media, particularly amongst our generation.
