Thank you @guitarist_mag for letting me share about Cosmos Forever + asking me about my roots 🌴 looking back, it’s pretty clear to me how inheriting some gear from a family friend when I was in high school, and turning my brother’s bedroom into my first home studio when he went off to college was really the start of all of my experimentation in sound and production. The late nights obsessively arranging my own weird little songs with absolutely no inhibitions is still some of the most fun I’ve ever had. All my vocals were so whispered on the recordings from that era so I wouldn’t wake my parents up in the next room haha. @miyaxx___ pronounced mee-yahx) is the project of songwriter @lealeathomas and artist/producer @sonic_monkeywrencher

Describing their sound as “night time fuzz folk,” Miyaxx draws from mythos and natural cycles, weaving layered arrangements that feel both intimate and expansive, like a window left open to the Catskill mountain air.

On May 1, they’ll be opening the journey at @opus40official, helping us attune to the forest before we cross the threshold into the stone.

Their debut LP arrives in fall 2026.
