It's been a really difficult season for us acquiring grants. Though we're working on grant applications around the clock right now, we don't have much to get us by this month.

If you're able to donate, you might be the reason our foodbank makes it through another season.

We provide food to 5,000-6,000 of your neighbors every single week through 5 different channels of distribution - so no one is left hungry regardless of circumstance. We provide hygiene products and donated clothes, shoes, rain gear, books etc. We form relationships with the marginalized members of society and go the extra mile to help.

These awesome guys (Danny and Victor) from Healthy Active Streets, fixed a broken mirror on our box truck this morning and brought us a dozen repaired bikes to distribute to people without transportation,from our bus in our usual 8 parks this weekend. (Along with the usual food,clothing,hygiene products, books and much more that we bring to people who are really struggling to make ends meet). We began collecting more and more food and creating more programs to get the food out, and on May 14th, 2018, we officially became recognized as a mutual aid non-profit.

Which means that this Thursday is technically our 8th anniversary!!!

We have gone from moving 50 lbs of food per week with one program to 50,000 lbs through six programs (and growing) to all of the neighbors that need help.

24,000 people rely on us every month to scrape by, feed their children, feed their grandparents etc. and feel a sense of community in this increasingly divisive time.

We provide fresh food and hygiene products to whoever comes to us in need and collect donated clothes, shoes, books, rain gear - you name it - so that the people with the least in our country can enjoy the unused items of neighbors with a little bit more. We also have classes, build urban gardens and harvest produce for our neighbors.

Everything we provide is FREE to those in need!

Unfortunately, with the severe funding cuts towards food aid, this has been the most challenging year yet. We fight every single day to keep our doors open.

We ask, if you have anything to spare, to please donate and consider being a monthly donor. There has never been a more impactful time. Please help us keep our doors open!
