The best @saiebeauty @sephora

How I prepped for one of the biggest podcast interviews of my life on @aspirewithemmagrede with @emmagrede:

1. I always figure out my outfit first. @jessifrederick and I collaborate on the look and what we want to convey, elevated but effortless (just like Saie:)) and how I want to feel (not hot and comfortable!). This way I don’t think about it again and it gives me the mental space to focus on my talking points.

2. Then I watched and listened to as many episodes of @aspirewithemmagrede as I could. I always want to bring as much new information as I can as a guest. My goal for this episode was to bring an abundance of takeaways for the listeners.

3. I journaled the whole way to LA (5 hours) where the podcast was being recorded. I wrote out my brand story and talking points with a pen and paper to have the mind body connection and be incredibly clear on what I wanted to say.

4. The morning of the podcast I got up early to workout. I wanted my blood to be flowing so I took the 6am @pvolve class that I love and it was exactly what I needed.

5. Before hair and makeup arrived I meditated for 10 minutes so I could bring super positive, happy energy to the room.

6. I had already sent inspiration to @beautybynikirae and @sophiehaig for my hair and makeup look so there were no surprises. We glammed and I put on my outfit and off we went!

I’m beyond honored (and honestly still in shock!) to be included on the #TIME100NEXT list. It’s such an honor to do what I love to do everyday, all based on such a simple concept of makeup that’s good for you. Launching @saiebeauty in 2019 right before the world turned upside down was a wild ride—but it’s our community, our mission, and our commitment to building something with real purpose that keeps me going every single day.
