Many of you may know me as the “DJ from Buddha” but when I first joined the venue back in 2016, it was as a glass collector in his third year at Solent University.

Having missed a lot of the club life during my early years at university, the decision to join Buddha was on of the best and messiest decisions I ever made 🍻

From doing promo, picking up glasses, serving drinks, running food service on (what was) Buddha rooftop — to spinning the decks on dodgy CDJ 850s and 900s (no, not nexus)

It’s been an incredible journey with Buddha Lounge (and Club, if you know, you know) and there are so many mixed feelings with the announcement of its closure. This is another sad reminder that times are extremely tough for the night life industry.

Hoping to see some familiar faces on Saturday 30th May to say goodbye to Buddha where, like old times, I’ll be there to drink and for once, not “work” 💿

Thank you Buddha for the memories, let’s go out with a bang 🍾
