For a few years, we celebrated Kwanzaa Crawl in Brooklyn AND Harlem - 2018 was one of them! Shout out to the horror movie sound effects and production value increase this year!

The 2018 Crawl really showcased how much power y’all have to shape your community! This one night, this one party, powered by the people, was sending bars and venues into the next year with a safety net they might not have had otherwise.

Back down memory lane again: The 2017 Crawl holds a special place in our hearts.

2016 was a successful proof of concept, but we didn’t really know we had something special until we saw how the people them came back and partied EVEN HARDER the next year.

There’s something about dancing around Brooklyn being Black AF together that y’all really love.

Our very FIRST Kwanzaa Crawl back in 2016!

Things were different way back when:
- TikTok wasn’t a thing yet so people still did the Wobble right
- Desiigner had the whole world talking about the Brooklyn sound (and Pandas)
- and we got tired of waiting for someone else to do something… so we did it ourselves and started a movement! 

2016 was the year we decided to just BE THE COMMUNITY we were looking for and go support the places that support us.

Together we proved we can do pretty much anything as long as we have each other and a DJ. 2016 was the foundation, and now we're the world's largest Black bar crawl.

Wild.
