I have yet to play Sonic 4 Episode 1, but the fact it’s so uninspired to the point it copies 99.99% of the things from the Genesis games minus the actual good qualities that they have, makes me hate it’s existence. Not to mention, I didn’t like Episode 2 which is supposed to be the better one so I can only imagine how much I’d hate Episode 1.

One thing that’s always rubbed me the wrong way is how people talk about how certain pieces of fiction “predicted/warned about the future”
If you wanna be technical yes it did do that, but it feels like it undermines the piece of fiction itself and/or ignores what it’s going for entirely.
It may just be me though but that’s how I feel when I see people be like that.

While I haven’t finished all party member social links, I honestly don’t agree with the whole “Persona 4&5’s party member social links suck because they suck out character development unlike 3”. I think that it’s a nice way to actually hang out with the characters you like or are interested to see more about them as they resolve an issue about them. I understand that they could grow as you play along the main story but honestly it’s also kinda hard to see that happening with what does happen in 4&5’s main story while with 3 the story does give the characters the ability to develop alongside with how it’s handled so I think it’s nice that they separated it. There’s also the whole thing where it’s dumb that the protag is treated like they did everything to help when all you do is a few dialog options but that’s a whole different discussion. As for how good those Social Links were, they’re subjective but I think for the most part they were good. Yosuke Hanamura was my first Social Link I completed and is honestly my favorite in the series. Now this will sound crazy but I don’t think the characters in 4&5 exactly needed to develop in the main story. I think they’re fun and charming as is and character development isn’t exactly necessary to make a character good though it is nice. Even though Persona 3 is well praised for character development I honestly like 4&5’s main cast more because I think they’re fun individuals with fun chemistry (for the most part) and just overall, I like them. Also Persona 3’s social links were boring as hell yes I know they focused on the main story that was good but they could’ve done a better job making me care about other characters since those social links were super basic and/or boring with only like 1 or 2 I remember and like and there were only 3 party member social links that were the females and while I only finished Yukari, I could not care for the other 2 and even then Yukari’s was forgettable. I know that Portable has the male Social Links but since I haven’t played it, idk what to say about them.

Btw I actually love Snickers idc about it’s “dick veins”

DMC5 Vergil still feels really fun to play. I don’t usually get DLC but this was a good choice to get and the only thing I don’t get is turbo and Dark Knight which I don’t mind.

Also playing Sonic Adventure is fun, it can have issues but honestly it’s still a good game and it feels like the issues are overblown and aren’t that bad
