Are there Christian EDM artists you should know about?

Yes… but that might not even be the right question.

I’ve been in electronic music for 20+ years. Played clubs, festivals, arenas… and gave my life to Jesus in the middle of it.

For a long time, my life didn’t look “Christian” at all. Partying, drinking, success in the scene—I didn’t think it was a problem.

Until I started taking my faith seriously… and felt the tension.

And honestly? That tension still exists.

But I’ve learned something:

👉 Some tensions are meant to be managed, not solved.
👉 And when Jesus said “go into ALL the world”… He meant all.

Yes, there are Christian electronic artists— @ravejesusmusic , @vumaala , @andyg_official , @iamdjjustified and so many more…

But the better question is:

Is this bringing me closer to Jesus—or pulling me away?

Because it’s not just about labels. It’s about fruit.

Love. Joy. Peace. Patience. Kindness. Goodness. Faithfulness. Gentleness. Self-control.

I’ve seen firsthand—people in this scene aren’t all looking to get high or escape.

Some are searching.

And I believe God sends people into these spaces on purpose.

I almost quit music recently… but at a sold-out show in Brooklyn, I watched people encounter God through dance music.

Joy. Freedom. Presence.

And I realized:

I’m exactly where God wants me to be.

If you’re a Christian unsure about this space:
➡️ Don’t limit God to your understanding.

If you’re in the scene looking for more:
➡️ God has been looking for you too.

If you’re an artist:
➡️ Make the most honest art you can.

Because at the end of the day…

It’s all for an audience of One.

If you ever felt alone, this one’s for you. Read for encouragement⬇️

1. Sometimes I feel alone but I have to remind myself that I never really am. I believe that there’s a relational God who cares for me and is with me in my struggles on my mountain tops and even when life just seems to go by.

2. As a music producer you send a lot of time by yourself making songs in your bedroom. It can feel lonely and you could end up feeling abandoned by the world…. I know dramatic. BUT it’s times like this when I get around a bunch of other people screaming “no I’m not abandoned” where I realize none of us are really alone. We have God and God gives us eachother. If you’re feeling alone reach out to a friend. If you’re feeling alone tap into community. I’m super blessed to have my wife in my corner and my family. Reaching out is ok. Tbh I should do it more.

3. Loneliness is very inward focused. When I find myself lonely, I notice I’m really magnifying myself, the situation I’m in and my own feelings. Feelings are valid but they’re terrible guides because they change so much. I come back to David in the book of Psalmsand just read through those and find I’m not alone.

Surgery went well, now it’s time to recover. I’ve been forced to slow down and trust the Lord my wife and friends for help. As someone who is usually super self sufficient this is both humbling and healing. I’m so grateful for my wife, family and friends! 6-8 weeks of recovery. It’s been a while since I rode a bike and I’ve forgotten how fun it is. If you’re ever feeling abandoned, you’re not. if you’re feeling broken hearted, you’re not. I’ve felt that before and as a Christian I’ve realized that I’m actually never alone I’m never abandoned or forgotten. Though my heart will break on this side of eternity I have hope and confidence because

1. God is close to the broken hearted
2. Jesus overcame the world
3. Hardship isn’t proof God is not there, it’s proof that the world is broken
4. When I feel abandoned I have to take my eyes off myself and remember he was always there.
