CATS: The Jellicle Ball is open. And it is a GIFT from the theater gods.I’m so proud to be part of this team of creative powerhouses.

Most of you know I get to live my best rom-com life by producing for Hallmark Channel and I love every second. Being on a set with these joyous scripts, tremendously talented actors and inspiring crews has been one of the biggest blessings of the last 8 years, as well as introducing me to some of my favorite humans for life. Each experience is different, with most of them being movies that I have not had the pleasure of developing personally. On these, I love that I get to jump into the deep end after all the incredible work has gone into the story and script process. But once-in-a-while, I get to see a movie to the finish line that came from my brain (usually after a glass of wine.) For these, I get to work with incredible development execs at the network, passionate writers and then see the movie through from prep to post. That is the story of BECAUSE OF CUPID, which airs this Saturday, February 14th at 8pm on Hallmark Channel. From dreaming up this story, building on it with Amy Meyerson, having the wonderful Elise Speiser see its potential, collaborating with Sarah Montana’s clever wit, teaming up with the OG Ashley Squires, Larry Grimaldi and the Neshama family & crew (Vinuja, Jordana, Vanessa, Mitch & more), to working with my fave Liz Farrer and a cast of dreams including Evan Roderick, Amy Groening, Adam Tsekhman, Tenille Read, Darryl Hinds, Ric Waugh, Sarah Booth, JT Silver. It’s more than I could ask. I hope you all love this movie as much as I do. And that you all believe a little magic can happen when you follow your heart.

I never take for granted that I get to celebrate Christmas almost all year by making movies with @hallmarkchannel. I feel very lucky to work with this incredible network. A Make Or Break Holiday was no exception and quickly became one of my faves.Thank you to the brilliant Candice DiLavore for thinking of me (on a true comedy!), Alejandro for helping me keep it all moving, Kim & Ivan, my incredible (and new fave) fellow Producers, our top notch design team (Kelsey, AJ, Jordan, The Jen’s!, Jacob, Tommy, Cat, Josh, Steve, Ray, Jude and team), an A+ AD Team (Mike, Steph (who loves pranks as much as I do), Mat & Josh), our amazing Camera Team (DP Jesse, Laurent, Solen, Jordan, Michael, Tyler, Caelan, & Raf), our sweet editing team (Braden, Saskia, Dawn), stunning Snow Team (Tina, Tamara, Tony, Breanagh, Greg, Aiden) Liz, our ridiculously sharp Script Sup,and finally our genius director, Martin Wood, who I will follow to any project.As many of you know, the tone on set comes from your cast…and this cast was alllllll about a good time.Thank you for your phenominal talent & amazing wit: Evan, Hunter, Marlee, Roark, Craig (I kept the secret..), Brittany, Jen, and the incomparable, Linda, my long lost spirit animal, plus our fierce 2nd Team, Steve & Amanda.Bonus - Connor who was an amazing PA & sport.
