Starter: Roasted Peppers with Spinach Yog, Fried Onions and Walnuts @mob 🌿

Mains: Fish Sauce Chicken Wings, Jasmine Rice, Cucumber Salad and a Nuoc Cham Dressing 🌶️ another @mob recipe (made these wings a few times and they never disappoint)

Dessert: Honey Butter Toast Croissant Cookies (not the most presentable here but THE BEST cookie recipe by @lungisalwaysbaking) 🍪

This restaurant kept popping up on my socials recently so had to pay a visit 🇹🇭 Super tasty Northern Thai restaurant in Soho, fairly reasonably priced for the location too! I only ordered one main dish and a side but there’s also the option to have just small plates if preferred 🍽️

The Khao Soi with BBQ Lemongrass Chicken was so fresh and fragrant and the additional toppings were a great addition 🍜 It was also really filling but I did also have a side of Mutton Fries which were so good I could’ve eaten a full plate of them🤤 Also pictured is the plant based Herbal Squash Curry 🌿 Overall very cute dimly lit restaurant, the neon signs made it feel more like a bar, perfect for a chilled evening out! 🍸

We ordered the set menu which was £45 each, ofc had to the Black Houmous (soooo smooth and rich) but also the Black Truffle Oliveh (chicken mayo salad) and the Khask E Bademjoon (aubergine), and mans were Koobideh (minced lamb) kabab and the Jujeh (marinated chicken) kabab🥙 The breads, saffron rice and chopped salad complemented the dips and meats so well, so much food so was able to take some back home too!! 👌🏾 Not the cheapest meal out there but the quality and taste was so good it was worth it, deffo one to add to your list 😎

We ordered the set menu which was £45 each, ofc had to the Black Houmous (soooo smooth and rich) but also the Black Truffle Oliveh (chicken mayo salad) and the Khask E Bademjoon (aubergine), and mans were Koobideh (minced lamb) kabab and the Jujeh (marinated chicken) kabab🥙 The breads, saffron rice and chopped salad complemented the dips and meats so well, so much food so was able to take some back home too!! 👌🏾 Not the cheapest meal out there but the quality and taste was so good it was worth it, deffo one to add to your list 😎

All the dishes we tried were really high quality and lots of unique flavours, personal fave was the scallops which came with the most delicious sauce underneath😍 also shouldnt have enjoyed the bread w melted butter & bacon as much as I did but it was unreal🥖 The onglet was also perfectly cooked, but I will say the truffle in the potato mousse was really rich and overpowering that I couldn’t even finish it!🥩 Services was really quick and friendly,would definitely recommend for a casual small plates dinner out ! ✨

Lunch by me 😗🍴- Creamy Spinach & Miso Orecchiette using the recipe by @mob 🥬, easy and tasty recipe I’ll deffo be making again, loved the umami flavours from the miso, it’s also vegan but I did add bacon lardons on top of mine oops🫣🫣
