🎁Fast N' Easy Holiday 🎁

For the third issue of Fast N' Easy I reached out to Los Angeles's chefs for their holiday favorites! Eleven recipes to guarantee getting stuffed this holiday season 😉

Each issue is $15 (plus shipping for everyone trying to get stuffed out of state) & since this issue was made with community, it's going back to community. All sales will be donated to @polospantryla, a grassroots organization dedicated to the nourishment & care of food insecure communities through mobile pantries and food distribution programs that are sourced sustainably from recovered produce, family farms, street vendors, and local food-makers in Southern California.

Cooking with friends in Fall format is finally here. For this episode invited one of my besties @kellylikescake — a mixed media pastry chef whose imagination always spills beyond the plate. Kelly’s the kind of person who can make dessert feel like sexy art, and somehow still make it so unserious that we were literally cracking up the entire time.

Together we wanted to concept something that truly felt like fall. Something cozy, golden, and a little unexpected. We landed on a chai spiced pavlova topped with roasted kabocha squash ice cream, candied hazelnuts, and caramel. It’s warm and spiced and perfectly crunchy, but it also became this playful experience because I finally got Kelly to do a little bit of her piping practice on me with meringue.. because why not? That’s the joy of cooking with friends. A little weird, a little messy, and fully creative.

Being in the kitchen together, is as always, a reminder that food is about so much more than what ends up on the plate. It’s about connection, curiosity, and slowing down long enough to enjoy each other. Here’s to fall, friendship, and a good pavlova that cracks just right.
