My love for creative business runs deep – it’s in my blood!

This cherished photo shows my great-grandparents standing proudly in front of their business, “Speig Signs Shop,” with my grandfather Julius as a baby in a stroller. My great-grandfather, Harrison H. Speiginer, was an artist who cleverly used one ‘S’ for all three words in his shop’s sign – a true testament to creative problem-solving!

Discovering this connection to my ancestors’ sign shop business fills me with an incredible sense of pride and purpose. It feels like I’m carrying on a family tradition, albeit in my own unique way. Just as my great-grandfather used his artistic skills to create signs, I’m using my creativity to bring beauty and personalization to people’s lives. It’s a beautiful reminder that creativity and entrepreneurship are part of my heritage.

Only 3 months in… but I’m so thankful I’ve been able to keep creating through it all.

Through unexpected health struggles.
Through family loss.
Through financial “new house” stress (iykyk).
Through co-parenting chaos… honestly I could write a full telenovela at this point 😅

And still…
I got to engrave at beautiful live events.
I got to create meaningful pieces in the studio.
I sadly engraved urns for the first time — something so personal and sacred. But grateful I was able to do it for family. 🤍
I showed up. Even when it was hard.

This transition from OC to Hemet has been exhausting.
No one said it would be easy (literally lol) and it hasn’t been.
But I’m choosing to stay hopeful.
