inspired by projects like “Linear Dreams” Richard Reeves, “Rhythmic” Norman McLaren, “Korean Alphabet” Kim In Tae (NFB) and the more recent projects of @s_chaussee w/ @badbadnotgood and wanted to make something looking at typography, letterforms and the forms/shapes they take.
Made by scratching and painting and inking the individual 35mm frames, I then scanned and stitched them together to make 90 frames and this 35 second clip. I used FireAlpaca to plan the frames digitally (last slide!)
