A few weeks ago I woke up with a blurry spot in the centre of my strong eye, so I wasn’t able to read or work. I had to use a patch to force my lazy eye to work again ~ and that made me accept the pirate life 🏴☠️
As a photographer it’s scary to not have your eyes working, but after eyeball injections and a good team of doctors I’m on the mends! My lazy eye will be fixed this year and I’ll hopefully for the first time in my life see in 3D.
If anyone in Vancouver has lazy eye problems or deals with extreme nearsightedness, DM me for resources! 💙

Had another vision relapse due to my myopic eyes, a consequence of decades of nearsightedness and being born prematurely. I have a condition called “myopic macular degeneration,” so vision loss and regular eye injections will become a normal part of my life and something I’ll have to accept. I can never be too far from a good retina specialist and unfortunately there is no cure 👁️💉🩸
But gotta have some humour in it! My vision got so distorted that everyone started to have pointy witch chins 🧙♀️ so if I look at you funny don’t take it personally!!
