Back in February, I stumbled upon @larry_chen_foto ‘s post of his visit at @rmcmiami . My doomscrolling immediately came to a stop as I couldn’t believe what I was seeing- a road ready R32GTR wearing a genuine Hasemi JGTC body kit. This design is what drew me into the JGTC style and aside from the custom R35 fender treatment, is instantly recognizable. What blew my mind was the build quality (based on photos) looked amazing and the parts list was equally impressive. A call to some friends led to me to speaking directly with Daniel at RMC, and a deal was made. A week later it arrived here in LA and I could not believe a JGTC bodied R32GTR was sitting before me, and in our stable here at Kaido House.

The car has been sitting quietly at our facility in Venice Beach since then, but this weekend, @chrismarion23 and I fired up the Reinik tuned RB26DETT and warmed up the titanium side exhaust. We drove it to Irvine for the @greddyperformance End of Summer event, where many guests had the same reaction I did when I first saw the car in person, “wtf is that”!

It needs a few things, (wheels and tires are first on the list) but we will take our time with this one so we do all the right things, the first time.

If you missed it this weekend, we will have it out in our retail openings in Venice on the last week of September. Dates and times to come!

Inspired by the 90’s racing spirit, the KH splash livery is the first of our “team” series with a race car and matching support vehicle. The era correct S13R wears this bright livery perfectly, combined with carbon textures and black anodized wheels. Remove the front clip and you’ll find a fully chromed VRTT engine with the down pipes exiting straight out from the top.

We created the splash dually as the support vehicle for our S13R, but it holds its own wearing the matching livery and twin turbo LS under the hood! Dark anodized wheels, blacked out bumpers and a drop down tailgate complete the look. This could probably throw down a solid lap time of its own.

The iconic KH Hakosuka returns in its original Kaido Works livery, but this time in the unmistakable bayside blue color from the BNR34 GT-R. The other colors used in the livery are also reminiscent of liveries from Nissan’s legendary race cars. Can you guess where the colors come from?

Many of you have asked what happened to this car. 😅

Long story short: we “broke” it out on the track, we fixed it, and now we’re going to take it completely down to the chassis and refresh the entire car. There is only one person in the world we trust to do this, @greddykenji . Kenji kicked off disassembly today on our ‘92 KH x @nostalgic_honda JDM NSX project.

You never know what you’ll find in a 30+ year old JDM machine, but for sure, you’ll find spaghetti wires, rust, and plenty of “why did you do this” like screwing aftermarket horns into the fuse box cover. 🤣 But hey, admit it, we all did dumb shit to our cars back in the day. All fun.

We originally intended on a track focused machine, but with the refresh, we decided that she’s for the streets. Now we are going lower, wider, and even more aggressive.

More to come. I’ve seen Master Kenji turn out fully detailed SEMA builds in a few months by himself, so we’re relieved it’s in trusted hands. Now we wait for some parts from Japan.
