We invite you to the opening of ''Dreams That Wake'' exhibition on displacement and the subconscious taking place at Bardo projektraum by participating in a workshop!

This is an experimental workshop transforming traditional Palestinian embroidery motifs into enlarged, sculptural forms. Participants engage with stories, sound, and cultural references from Gaza, translating narrative and identity into contemporary interpretations of tatreez.

About your host:
Tala Fasheh is a Palestinian/Jordanian architect and multidisciplinary designer currently based in Berlin. In October 2023, she founded Juthouri, an artist-led project created to support humanitarian efforts through creative practice, offering Tatreez workshops as well as custom artworks and design pieces inspired by traditional Palestinian embroidery patterns. Tala is also the Berlin Ambassador of Afikra, a pioneering global media and educational platform dedicated to advancing intellectual and cultural understanding of the Arab world.
