শুনে দোকানি হেসে বলল।
"কিন্তু এইটাই তো একমাত্র আমাদের আড্ডা মারার সময়... এরপর সবাই যে যার কাজে ব্যস্ত।... রাতে রান্নাঘর সামলানো পর্যন্ত নিঃশ্বাস ফেলার সময় হবে না।"
দোকান থেকে তেমন লাভ হয় না। কিন্তু এটা আমাদের দরকার।

Every morning at 7 am, this group of women gathers at this tea stall in Gangasagar.
"She doesn't make such great tea."
The owner smiles and joins in.
"But this is our me time... friends, fun... before we get busy. After this, we only get a break after clearing the kitchen late at night."
The stall isn't so profitable. "But it is important."

Join us on Sunday, January 18th, at Rannabari, a food pop-up paying homage to foraged, fermented and forgotten flavours. We will be present as part of a collab between Goblette and Jaladarsha (Eco Hive Foundation), that centres indigenous ingredients and techniques from Bengal to create delicious and wholesome food. So bring your appetites!
