anybody that knows us will surely be aware as we’ve been giddy about this project for the last 6 months but we’ve got new music coming !!
this april we went down went to @the_calf_house, where benevolent bossman Louis helmed a 3 day recording session, in which we recorded 6 shiny new tracks and a few live acoustic versions (an homage to our spoony late night jams while we were down there)
the first of these, Far Away, will be coming in early october, along with an accompanying music video we filmed in the woods, and the live take recorded by the immaculate @maisiemarymarshall. we’re so excited for this and can’t wait to share the results of our hard work, creativity and love for music and each other

managed to convince the boys to come cook up at the barn and ell’s bar
these gigs with george and taylor have become the benchmark for my relationship with gigging on guitar, we have a beautiful time, push each other to learn tough tunes and give each other the space and encouragement needed to explore and express ourselves musically
a band is like any other relationship; rooted in communication and empathy, high risk // high reward, and when done correctly can push all involved to be better versions of themselves. i love these boys and no matter how hard i try to crush them spiritually, physically, emotionally and musically, they don’t seem to mind me hanging around. yay.
