In June 2023, I got laid off from my dream job at ESPN.
For the next two years, I wasn’t allowed to write, go on TV, or start a YouTube channel.
So I did the only thing I could: I stopped. I watched sports like a fan again.
That’s when I realized something.
Sports media is broken.
And I started planning for something new.
