Over the past 20 months I’ve really tried to approach this as if starting music from scratch. I wanted to write about hope and optimism after years of dwelling on the apocalyptic doom in our world. I wanted to find a way forward and to do that I had to get back to the basics, singing and playing piano.

Everything else is window dressing for me. I hope you like this album as much as I do.
