So excited for everyone to meet the Cast of the 20th Anniversary Jersey Boys U.K. Tour!!
The production opens at New Wimbledon Theatre on 17 June 2026 as part of the show’s 20th anniversary celebrations, with dates currently booking throughout 2027. You can see the current set of tour dates at the link below.

The musical follows the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, and features songs including “Sherry”, “Walk Like A Man”, “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, “Beggin’” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”. The piece has a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe.

The tour reunites the original Broadway creative team, with direction by Des McAnuff and choreography by Sergio Trujillo. Musical supervision, vocal arrangements and incidental music are by Ron Melrose, with associate direction and choreography by Danny Austin, scenic design by Klara Zieglerova, costume design by Jess Goldstein, lighting design by Howell Binkley, sound design by Steve Canyon Kennedy and projection design by Michael Clark.

Orchestrations are by Steve Orich, casting is by Jill Green, casting associates Olivia Laydon & Tom Shiels, associate UK musical supervision is by Ed Bussey, musical direction is by Lauren Ronan and resident direction is by Luke Zammit. General management is by Dodgers UK Productions

LEAD CASTING FOR @rottenmusicaluk announced!
✨🎭
Set to star will be Jason Manford, returning after the show’s concert run, playing Nick Bottom. Joining him will be Richard Fleeshman as William Shakespeare, having played the role in the award-winning concert, while revealed today is Marisha Wallace, who also appeared in the award-winning concert, playing Bea. Interestingly, Wallace had originally been part of the Broadway production in 2015, where she served as an understudy for Bea and played Eggie White.

Wallace commented: “I’m beyond thrilled to have been cast in the UK premiere of Something Rotten! It was pure joy to be a part of this hilarious musical on Broadway a decade ago – so now, to be joining this incredible company for the first time that UK audiences will get to see it, is a full-circle moment in the best way. I can’t wait to dive back in!”

Back home. Still processing how I got to share the stage with these four talented titans. Will take even longer to figure out why this play hit so deeply over there. Not only for the cast, but also the very moved audience. We could almost feel their arms around us, experiencing the words as we did. Maybe it’s the upside down world we’re all needing to cope with. Living through collective and continuous trauma. Whatever it is, I want to keep meeting the moment through my art. Can wait to see the next steps with this piece.

What a day! I must thank these brilliant actors for bringing to life my play & the eloquent words of those that have died by suicide. A special acknowledgment to the talented team who gave of their time in putting all this together. And of course the beautiful UK audience that packed the theatre and responded so enthusiastically. We heard every tear and gasp. The big take away — this project and discussion is desperately needed over here. In schools and the general population.
