Night one of @theholdsteady celebrating 20 years of Boys and Girls In America at @thesinclair in Cambridge. BAGIA is the first Hold Steady record i remember hearing and falling in love with. One of those special bands that somehow managed to combine Husker Du and Springsteen and noted of 80s hardcore and anarchopunk and Tom Waits and turn it into something special and uniquely Alerican and uniquely rock and roll. I'll have more to say later at the site. Gotta pick the confetti out of places I didn't know confetti could get.
