The talk will describe the history of the Woodland school of art, as well as discussing the Indigenous Group of Seven, to show the development of the art style that Jay works in.

The Bargain Hunter is off to Montreal for an exhibition at @bacabiennale! This artwork is a human sized cornhusker doll made of mixed media.
The Redcoat. 2016-2023. Dyed rawhide, sinew, trade silver and wire.
The artwork is an installation that works to share Haudenosaunee history and examine our relationship with the British during the American Revolution and consequent removal from upstate New York to Grand River Territories after that war.

The proposal was unsuccessful like many proposals are but I thought it was worth sharing it anyways. I have stickers available of this design which I will put in my shop in a couple of weeks. Watch for them if you like the design

The gustowah is the traditional headdress worn by Haudenosaunee men for many centuries. The one i made is built from repurposed Walmart shopping bags, electrician tape, plastic jewels with a black ash frame.
