I want to share the good news that ‘Distancia’ my first feature film as a lead actor, as for now had reached 3 different corner of the earth, hitting their Film Festivals.
Last year, we wereso blessed to be in the Official Selection of the @bue.iffBuenos Aires International Film Festival (South America).
We were also part of the @brooklynfilmfestival (North America) and returned with the Best New Director Awardfor our talented T.S. Meeks. Such an incredible experience!
We are starting this 2025 as part of the Edinburgh FilmFestInternational (Europe) @filmfestint with 6 Nominations which include T.S. Meeks as Director, @aaroninmanfilms for his awesome cinematography, Atman Mercadillo & Thomas Ethan Harrissharing with them as producers. And finally me!! as Outstanding Male Actor in a Foreign Film. As awesome as it sounds!!!
The awards ceremony will take place this weekend in London at the Hilton Hotel Riverside.
Let’s wait for what other surprises God gives us before our film finds its way to global distribution.

Busboys comes out this week, and I want to take a moment to acknowledge the work behind it.

Congratulations to Charlotte McKinney, who I coached on her audition, and to Javier B. Suarez and Michelle Ortiz, who have both taken my Chekhov classes. It is always good to see actors take the work from the room into a real project.

What stands out about this one is how it came together. A last minute audition. Barely any time. A lot of uncertainty. And then a decision to just go for it anyway. That is the part most actors struggle with. Not the material, but the willingness to commit without knowing if it will land.

We pushed choices. Specific behavior. Something a little off center. The kind of work that could either fall flat or stand out. That is the risk.

Most people want to feel ready before they act. The reality is you rarely are. You prepare, you trust your instincts, and you send it. That is how opportunities start to stack.

If you are serious about training with a working acting coach in Los Angeles and building real audition technique, this is the level of commitment required.
