I designed and animated a section of the new documentary about Canadian soccer legend Christine Sinclair ⚽️🥇 The film is full of bright and fast animated scenes of her pro soccer career (narrated by Ryan Reynolds 😳) but my role was the quiet sub-plot of her strong relationship with her mother.
I used Rough Animator to figure out all the motion, and then Procreate Dreams 2 to do all the clean up, was pretty easy to import rough videos and build up the final (with keyboard shortcuts!) highly recommend for people who are used to cleaning up in photoshop.
Written and directed by @eoinduffy, animation directed by @henriquebarone, was amazing to watch you put it all together, thanks for having me along 🙏

10 years ago most of my work was doing hand-drawn impressions of what I thought a graphic designer was, logos, menus, posters, etc. Doing the logo for @standbydetroit was a high point, super happy to see it still going strong 🥂
Side note, I have been having fun with two simple brushes- the chisel looking calligraphy is a flattened round brush at a 45 degree angle, and everything else was a square brush, had to turn off all the high tech rotation/angle/pressure features to keep it clean.
