The incomparable James Gadson, RIP my friend.
James was a true legend and I was lucky enough to get to play some gigs with James at Cafe Boogaloo in Hermosa Beach back in my LA days. He was a very kind man and the room always lit up when he was present. Heaven is a now funkier place.
