We hiked up the small mountain south of our hotel. 7 miles round trip. 2000 feet elevation gain. Yeah, my legs are a little sore.

We were camped at the lakeshore; at 10:00 pm, a guy showed up with his Australian shepherd (with a foam shark fin on his back! 🤣) and inflated a kayak, loaded gear and dog into it and paddled to the middle of the lake. Two hours later he came back to get more gear. In the morning , I flew out to see if I could spot him with no luck. By 10:00 am, he was paddling back!We helped lug all his gear to his car up the hill. We thought he had done enough!
