Proyecto final de nuestro artista residente Nero Villagallos O’Reilly
Jupiterfab Arts Residency presenta la culminación del proceso de nuestro artista residente quien compartirá un análisis de una hora sobre el complejo y poco explorado camino que han seguido los cómics en México desde finales del siglo XIX hasta hoy.
A través de un recorrido histórico y crítico, Nero examina cómo estas publicaciones han viajado por canales formales e informales: kioscos, mercados, editoriales independientes, puestos callejeros, ferias, coleccionistas y, más recientemente, plataformas digitales. Su investigación revela cómo factores como la economía, la cultura popular, la migración, la piratería y el centralismo editorial han dado forma a un ecosistema único donde conviven la historieta clásica, los circuitos underground y la producción contemporánea.
Te invitamos a descubrir estas rutas —a veces invisibles— que han definido la presencia del cómic en la vida cotidiana del país.
