Ever wonder what casting directors actually see in a dance call?
Broadway's Jimmy Larkin and a very special guest are pulling back the curtain on what really happens at that dance ECC or invited call. After dancing, a handful of lucky participants will get to workshop an audition cut from their own book in a real group setting, followed by a candid Q&A led by Jimmy and their guest.

Two hours of dance call + vocal cut work. Thirty minutes of real talk. One workshop that might just change how you walk into your next audition.

🗓️ Tuesday June 2nd, 6-8:30pm

HOW TO SIGN UP
📧Make sure you are on our mailing list by Wednesday, May 20th at 4pm to receive the sign up link! Participants are chosen via lottery.

✨ CHOREOGRAPHER SPOTLIGHT ✨
Meet Lilli Eleanor Jacobs (@lillijacobs), the creator of *“Would That I.”*

A mystical, sapphic work rooted in nature and transformation, *“Would That I”* reflects the cycles of shedding and renewal—honoring the ritual of releasing who we once were to make space for who we are becoming. Like winter turning to spring, the piece celebrates growth, rebirth, and the beauty of becoming anew.

Inspired by her deep connections to the women in her life, the divine, and the natural world, Lilli creates with a sense of magic and intention—yes, even channeling a little fairy energy 🧚🧚‍♀️🧚‍♂️. Outside the studio, she also studies Hellenistic astrology, further shaping her spiritual and artistic lens.

✨ CHOREOGRAPHER SPOTLIGHT ✨
Meet KTCO the Company (@Ktcothecompany), the creators of *“Grève Rèvolte.”*

Rooted in collaboration, KTCO’s work comes to life through the artists in the room—transforming the process into one of shared discovery, joy, and deeply human expression. *“Grève Rèvolte”* explores the tension between awareness and surrender, investigating how identity evolves as autonomy is gradually worn away.

With a background in classical choral singing, KTCO places music at the center of creation—using it not as a backdrop, but as the driving force behind the movement and emotion of the piece.

✨ CHOREOGRAPHER SPOTLIGHT ✨
Meet Gable Couch (@gablecouch), the creator of *“Red Right Hand.”*

A darkly theatrical and imaginative work, *“Red Right Hand”* drops us into a haunting world where captives must perform vaudeville acts to earn their freedom. As they are taken one by one by the Henchmen, the Protagonist searches for escape alongside her only remaining friend—until they are stopped by their captor, The Mistress. In a chilling and surreal twist, The Mistress reveals her longing for beauty, dreaming of a cape… if only she had the “materials” to create one.

Drawing inspiration from vaudeville traditions and the iconic style of Bob Fosse, Gable infuses the piece with a contemporary edge—melding sensuality, distortion, and theatrical flair into a movement language that is both striking and unsettling. With a vision as bold as crafting a cape out of human forms, the choreography lives at the intersection of storytelling and stylization.

Grounded in collaboration and community, Gable thrives on working with fellow queer artists and strong allies, fostering a rehearsal space filled with openness, creativity, and joy.

✨ CHOREOGRAPHER SPOTLIGHT ✨
Meet Fiona Galvin (@Fionagalvin_dances), the creator of *“What Day Is It?”*

A playful fusion of classical ballet and comedic storytelling, Fiona’s piece takes audiences on a lighthearted journey through the emotional rollercoaster of the week. From the dread of Monday to the joy of Saturday—and every mood in between—she explores how our feelings shift with each passing day, and how differently we each experience them.

Inspired by the way people personally “measure” their weeks, Fiona blends elegance with humor, creating a work that is both technically refined and delightfully entertaining. By weaving comedic moments and diverse movement styles into a classical ballet foundation, she brings a fresh, dynamic perspective to the stage.

At the heart of her process is collaboration. Fiona fosters an environment where dancers feel confident, seen, and empowered—often incorporating their favorite steps to highlight their individuality and strengths. A self-proclaimed “trina (ballerina)” at heart, she set out to create a piece that radiates the beauty, joy, and expressive power of ballet.
