Very excited to announce the opening of 𝙄𝙉𝙑𝘼𝙎𝙄𝙑𝙀 𝙎𝙋𝙀𝘾𝙄𝙀𝙎, an exhibition and series of interventions & programmes curated by yours truly.

The project features 16 incredible women artists working across installation, performance, scent, sound, painting, sculpture, mixed media, live matter, and moving image.

𝙄𝙉𝙑𝘼𝙎𝙄𝙑𝙀 𝙎𝙋𝙀𝘾𝙄𝙀𝙎 explores themes of intrusion, invasion, and dissonance through the lens of psychological and psycho-sensory frameworks. Join us on June 4 from 6–9PM for the private view. We’ll be serving spicy mescalitas and beers. It’ll be a trip 🌀

𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 is a site-responsive work by @dancae_ exploring how desire is shaped and distorted by the environments through which we move, investigating the body itself as a medium through which invasion is enacted and absorbed.

Commissioned for the opening of 𝙄𝙉𝙑𝘼𝙎𝙄𝙑𝙀 𝙎𝙋𝙀𝘾𝙄𝙀𝙎 during #londongalleryweekend, the performance marks the Berlin-based dance collective’s international debut on June 5 & 6 at @hyphastudios Gallery 1 / No. 1 Poultry.

As 𝙄𝙉𝙑𝘼𝙎𝙄𝙑𝙀 𝙎𝙋𝙀𝘾𝙄𝙀𝙎 unfolds, works operating as psychological and metaphorical entryways emerge as sites of gradual ascent and descent into nowhere in particular. Three sculptural works by @francespinnock give form to this condition. Animated by ladders, thresholds, and domestic containers, the works resemble fragments displaced from dream logic, at once familiar yet resistant to fixed interpretation. Pinnock’s materially charged forms evoke an intimate interior architecture, oscillating between containment and liminality while allowing the mind to move toward what remains just out of reach. A quiet tension accumulates throughout the works, resisting spectacle in favour of slower psychological extraction, where meaning emerges through uncertainty, implication, and trace.
