We survived DC Black Pride! 🌈✨

WOW… what an absolute whirlwind of a weekend.

Thank you to every single person that came out, celebrated with us, and helped make this weekend so special. The love, energy, and support meant everything.

I also can’t thank our team enough. They truly stepped up and continue finding their groove more and more every week. This weekend took a massive effort behind the scenes, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’re building together.

As for what’s next — we’re still pushing forward getting the upper floors ready for Capital Pride, expanding the experience, and continuing work on our food menu. We’re focused on opening in phases and staying laser focused on the overall vision without rushing the process.

We’ll be open again this weekend Friday through Monday — and this week I’m officially moving our Monday ballroom night over to Icon. 🪩

Meet Kookie (@tharealkookie) — bringing beauty, energy, and hustle to every shift at Icon DC. Behind the bar, she keeps the drinks flowing and the vibes high, making guests feel welcomed from the moment they walk in. Outside of nightlife, Kookie is also an entrepreneur and the owner of Back2Beauty Wellness & Recovery, where she helps clients feel confident, refreshed, and empowered through self-care and recovery services. Whether she’s creating unforgettable nightlife experiences or helping people look and feel their best, Kookie brings passion, personality, and dedication into everything she does.

Meet Brandon (@the_b.carter) — one of the familiar faces behind the bar at Icon DC and the founder of Carter Fitness. Whether he’s serving drinks, bringing energy to the room, or helping clients build confidence through fitness, Brandon is all about discipline, motivation, and good vibes. His passion for health and wellness carries into everything he does — pushing people to become stronger mentally and physically while always showing up with positivity and professionalism. From behind the bar to behind the coaching plans, Brandon brings the same energy every time: consistency, confidence, and commitment.

Meet Cesar (@cesar_dmv1) — the force behind the curtain keeping the magic moving. From coordinating entertainers to handling the countless behind-the-scenes details guests never see, he makes sure every performer has what they need and every show runs smoothly from start to finish. Calm under pressure, organized in chaos, and always focused on creating an unforgettable experience, César is a huge part of what brings the energy of Icon DC to life night after night.
