Next in line in the family hierarchy is the Prince and Princess role, often seen as a role that is a predecessor to larger leadership roles, we hear from Canada’s up-and-coming leaders in the country.

MTL Princess Rise Old Navy has been part of Montréal’s ballroom community since 2018, primarily walking Women’s Performance. In 2025, she was honored as Princess and Women’s Performance OTY. Off the floor, she focuses a lot on community organizing and building. Since 2021, she co-founded and actively co-directs Ballroom 4 Community with Canadian Father Ali Old Navy, to support and empower LGBTQIA+ youth through ballroom.

Princess Meija Siriano has been a key figure in Vancouver’s ballroom scene for 3 years. In that short time, she has made an impact on the runway and in the ballroom communities across Canada. Known for her beauty, personality & presence, Meija’s accolades include being Vancouver’s first “Star Of The Year” Canada’s first $1000 Femme Queen Realness winner. In 2025, her ballroom career elevated after being recruited into the Iconic House of Miyake-Mugler, a global force in the mainstream ballroom scene.

Justin Huynh, also known in Ballroom as Prince Astro from The Kiki House of Gvasalia, residing in so-called Vancouver BC, has cultivated his artistry within the local Ballroom and drag scene since 2021. A Canadian-Vietnamese creative, community leader, and performer trained in Vogue Femme and drag artistry, he joined The Kiki House of Gvasalia in 2023 and is recognized for notable Ballroom achievements, including Prince of the Year (2024) and BQ Vogue Femme of the Year (2025)

Toronto Prince ODI Pinklady is a Nigerian/Trinidadian artist from Winnipeg. ODI has acquired arts training and experience through years of musical theatre performance since the age of 13. ODI has won $1000 for All American Runway, awarded New Commentator and Commentator of the year 2025 in Toronto, and started the first KiKi house in Winnipeg, MB.

This past weekend The INTERNATIONAL Legendary Imperial Haus of Balmain took over Canada and I am pleased to commend my haus on the efforts we displayed at the Black Liberation Ball in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Our theme was 1920s and I love playing dress up so we had fun with this one.
