❤️‍🔥 EX ÆQUO - NOUVEL ALBUM ❤️‍🔥 25 AVRIL ❤️‍🔥 C’était pas qu’une chanson, c’est aussi le titre que portera mon 3ème Album ! WAOW ce n’est pas sans émotion que je rédige ce post et c’est le moment de Pré Commander l’album dans vos GSM ❤️
Je vous en dirai plus très bientôt sur la genèse de ce disque qui a 11 chansons mais une seule histoire ❤️‍🔥 À chaque sortie je vous dis que je mets tout dans mes disques : celui-ci ne fait pas exception, c’est un disque tendre, tranchant et le faire m’a bouleversé
J’ai écrit et composé des chansons que j’aime d’amour, eu la joie de penser et composer des arrangements pour un orchestre de 40 musiciens (merci @label6et7 de m’avoir suivi dans mon obsession et fofolie pour le vrai et le vibrant), je vous parlerai de tout ça très vite !!
Je me suis (re)trouvée là où je ne m’attendais pas et j’espère me trouver là où vous m’attendrez ❤️
Ex Æquo a été réalisé et mixé par Marlon B, acolyte de choc dans cette aventure, bravo 🎀

What to say. Dear Gregg. Talented, curious, uncompromising and resilient friend.
Posting this long about music making, because every thing he did, he did for the music.
We met at a time when there was no camera on phones. Funnily enough, he had this habit later where he’d always love to take a picture each time he’d visit, we both used to laugh about it. Now I’m glad he did.
Back in 2008, a certain Gregg stumbled across MySpace. I only had posted one song then, he wrote something like “hey. Really like your song, looks like you’re into Cat Power’s music. let’s meet”. I was listening to 60’s music and discovered Cat Power’s songs like that. loved it immediately. So we met for the first time in Lyon in 2008, as they were headlining les Nuits de Fourvieres. Gregg and I immediately bonded and became friends. talked , made music and chilled, worked and meet again in Paris. Couple months later, I flew to Philadelphia in November, where he was living, to record some more music. There for a period of time we formed a band, the Rare Birds, with Gillian, the kind of band that never starts and never ends. Did some amazingly moving studios sessions in FishTown. Gregg was always willing to play music and create. I was learning just by watching, listening. It seemed to be so easy for him. We wrote and recorded “The soft Divide”, wich was released later in 2010 or so - him in each and every aspect. The sound. Unique.
It’s been almost 20 yrs now, but I don’t think I ve ever met someone who has such talent when it comes to music. He was born for it. Since then we d meet each time he was in Europe, recorded a song again in 2013 “Feathered with Daggers” It breaks my heart to listen to it again. As much as it makes me feel serene to hear him laughing in it. For ever smiling.
So this is how started our friendship 18 years ago, the rest, him, is legend .

His loss lets a lot of people around the world very sad today.
You’ll be dearly missed, Gregg 💔

What to say. Dear Gregg. Talented, curious, uncompromising and resilient friend.
Posting this long about music making, because every thing he did, he did for the music.
We met at a time when there was no camera on phones. Funnily enough, he had this habit later where he’d always love to take a picture each time he’d visit, we both used to laugh about it. Now I’m glad he did.
Back in 2008, a certain Gregg stumbled across MySpace. I only had posted one song then, he wrote something like “hey. Really like your song, looks like you’re into Cat Power’s music. let’s meet”. I was listening to 60’s music and discovered Cat Power’s songs like that. loved it immediately. So we met for the first time in Lyon in 2008, as they were headlining les Nuits de Fourvieres. Gregg and I immediately bonded and became friends. talked , made music and chilled, worked and meet again in Paris. Couple months later, I flew to Philadelphia in November, where he was living, to record some more music. There for a period of time we formed a band, the Rare Birds, with Gillian, the kind of band that never starts and never ends. Did some amazingly moving studios sessions in FishTown. Gregg was always willing to play music and create. I was learning just by watching, listening. It seemed to be so easy for him. We wrote and recorded “The soft Divide”, wich was released later in 2010 or so - him in each and every aspect. The sound. Unique.
It’s been almost 20 yrs now, but I don’t think I ve ever met someone who has such talent when it comes to music. He was born for it. Since then we d meet each time he was in Europe, recorded a song again in 2013 “Feathered with Daggers” It breaks my heart to listen to it again. As much as it makes me feel serene to hear him laughing in it. For ever smiling.
So this is how started our friendship 18 years ago, the rest, him, is legend .
