10/5-10/12: Late to post this but Fiona and I spent the week in Lancaster with my folks. The break from the city was welcome, although Fiona had to keep a low profile - the Amish continue to search for her.
Picture 1: Fiona got to run around all on her own and of course was a crazy person.
Picture 2: The aftermath of her sprinting for 40 minutes.
Picture 3 & 4: My parents took me to one of their favorite local ice cream spots, where we also got to see some cows.
Picture 5: Back on the road to NYC with the little fluffball curled up napping on the train.

9/29-10/5: Officially shifting into spooky season with the end of September. Although how I'm supposed to juggle spooky season and wholesome fall activities in the same month is beyond me, and apparently November is not considered an acceptable answer.
Pic 1: Saw "Good Boy" and, despite many storytelling frustrations and critiques, cried my eyes out and was messed up for a couple days.
Pic 2 & 3: Swinging wildly in the other direction, saw the 10-ish Year Reunion of the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend cast at the Beacon. Have not laughed that hard in a while. Hysterical cast, crazy and cool venue, 10/10.
Pic 4: Fiona manifests her inner cat and sits on everything I put on the ground, but scrambles up as soon as I try to take a picture so she can maintain plausible deniability regarding her feline soul.

9/22-9/28: Not a ton happened. Made some progress on Wicked Dreams, found my new top pizza place in NYC (the behemoth in pics 3 & 4), experienced a really cool thing called Viola's Room. Make sure to follow the light.

9/14-9/21 in review: Months of training culminated in running my first Spartan Race 5k in Killington, VT. Deeply humbling experience, with a lot of future adjustments to my workout routines. Sadly I wasn't able to take pictures on the course.
Pic 1: The train outside the Amtrak station in Rutland, VT
Pic 2:Downtown Rutland
Pic 3: Rutland's Whoopie Pie festival, a happy surprise overlap with being in town
Pic 4: The end of the line and the mountain to run
Pic 5: The medal I earned (and quite like)
Pic 6: Fiona was very happy I came home

Apparently it's National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day, and it happens I didn't mark a really important thing that happened in February - we got a dog. This is Fiona - if you watch my stories I'm sure you've already seen plenty of her - and she's truly one of the best dogs I've ever met. She's sweet, she's goofy, and there's not a mean bone in her body. I love her so much and she's already come such a long way since she came to the city. I'm so happy we can give her a home and a safe place to sleep.

June 4th, 2023.

I officially graduated from Terry Knickerbocker's Studio that day, bringing my two years of Meisner conservatory training to an end. I only got to spend my second year with Terry and my incredible classmates, but I'll remember the things I learned and experienced in that year for a lifetime. I'm so immensely grateful to my teachers (particularly Terry) and my classmates (who welcomed me with open arms and incredible kindness). I've made friendships there I hope last my whole life.

And honestly?

I'm extremely proud of myself. I told myself for years a rigorous two year program was beyond me. But I did it, and I did it well. I learned to be way more open to feedback without letting it absolutely depress me, and I did some good work.

Congrats grads of '23. We did it. I can't wait to see what we all do next. We out (last pic lol).

If there was ever a picture that truly explained who I am - the adjustable weights arrived a couple days ago, the D&D books arrived yesterday, and the sides were for a scene study class last night. Pretty succinct summary.

#tbt - Updating my acting material and I discovered I had forgotten to share this - I got to work on a spectacular project called "Down" where @michaelmetta beat me bloody (which I do have a picture of on here). This was an awesome shoot with an incredible crew that was notably organized, efficient, creative, friendly, and fun to be around.

@keyohdee , loved filming this, the writing was great (which seems to be a recurring theme when you're involved), you're an awesome director, and I hope you and the rest of the team are staying safe.

A fun project during which I was maybe 90% destroyed by illness. But the dating world waits for no one and Ember had ladies to impress.

@appilyeverafterfilm @rachelmschmeling @monyakin @robalicea
Thank you for bringing me onto this production, can't wait to see where it goes!

2009 to 2019. It's things like this that make me realize just how long and full and rich life is. The kid on the left had zero idea what the guy on the right was going to go through, the people he'd meet, and the discoveries he'd make. Also that he'd decide he didn't like all that hair.
