Ugh, loss. Seymour was, to me, a figure that changed the direction of my life towards the one I wanted, and away from what I believed I could not have.

Anyone in the arts knows, rejection is plentiful. I heard ‘no’ so many times that getting *one*more was almost a game, but Seymour was my first real yes. he signed the weirdos who had no home otherwise, and gave us all a place to be, and to work. What a gift he gave to so many of us - artists, and listeners.

I’m forever grateful for his love and support, for sharing HIS joy for music and food and love, for allowing me to join the hallowed ranks @sirerecords , and most of all for believing in my music. I’ll miss him a lot.

I hope they have mangoes in heaven, Seymour.

I wear a lot of turquoise, but I’m feeling particularly grateful for this lovely ring gifted to me by a love of a human @invisiblefamiliars today. The more I grow, the more I cherish my personal abundance of kind and loving friendships.
