He is my first muse. I studied him. My father would let me check out all his biographies at the library. I was not allowed to listen to his music (double PK). So at school, I did the rich kids homework in exchange for his albums and merch. I’d have to hide them in my locker, my mom went through everything randomly. One day I just ain’t care no more.
I got real good with my hands! Not only could I draw him but I also mastered swapping out that Thriller cd to Fred Hammond like a gd Rubik’s cube. I dropped to my knees and cried like a baby in that target when he left us. Yall don’t get it Artwork by MEE (preAl) 😒 !!! RIP #michaeljackson

About last night...
I was so happy for her, to see that BEAUTIFUL crowd of so many peers and queers after all these years AND for her to perform at Sofi where my largest mural (22ft) is still there and it was emo asf for me🥹. Anyway, I had a safari helluva black azz time but MOST IMPORTANTLY, she sang “SIT ON IT” and clarified the VAAAAAAGGGGGG ain’t excluded 🙇🏽‍♀️ it’s still lesbian visibility week.
