here’s the fuel that kept the fire going🔥during my 25 days of pottery

These spots saw me weekly if not every day 🫪☺️

1. @mahas.cafe - Betengen (eggplant) sandwich plus a honey cardamom latte my fuel after a workshop
2. @tatsurostoronto - miso brown sugar cookie and any of their shokupan toasts 🤤quick bite during my workshop
3. @sushiongerrard - salmon hand roll and spicy salmon maki so fresh every time. My late night dinners in the studio
4. @lambosdeli Italian vegetable sandwich with eggplant is what I’m rushing to 10 mins before they close. I love their sodas for an extra late night pick me up
5. @matchahaus.ca I’ve had almost every specialty latte. The apple pie latte was spectacular all the way to the crumble on top

When my buyer asked to purchase I wasn’t selling at all and I was so attached to this piece that I said no 🫣 I saw how much the customer loved it and I thought this piece deserved to go to a home where she’s adored. The metallic colours and black from the raku firing was pure magic.

For the first time I experienced what it was like to let go and to my surprised I felt happier with my piece in someone else’s home. The fact that I could bring some joy to someone’s space is a feeling I can’t get over 🤍
